2 days ago we brought home Hobbes, a little 6week old kitten. He promptly fell asleep on my keyboard.I thought i would create a little blog to let the world know about his life, because i think he is the most spectacular kitten in the world.
Alix and i were out getting some IceCream Cake to celebrate our 7 year Anniversary. And low and behold the local pawn shop had a Kitten adoption sign outside. Alix loves cats, and kittens are adorable so we went inside to take a look.
We have turned down adorable kittens before, but something seemed right this time, i dont know. We left to get the cake and talked about it. I jokingly said "well, its 7 years, so its ither kids or a kitten... and i know we dont want kids yet, so theres really no choice."
We decided this kitten would be my kitten, because Alix allready has Star (a russian blue) who has been with her sense before i knew her. And that way their wouldnt be so much jealousy as i would be the one doing all the work for the new kitten... plus i got to name him Hobbes.
Star is a little upset when she sees him, but I think it will all work out. Right now he's passed out on my lap and letting me code. More later.
